Before works are arranged, We (A&S Contractors) send written communication to the resident or discuss via a documented telephone conversation, asking the pre appointment checklist questions and for the homeowner to confirm they can provide the technician, supervisor or manager with a designated washing facility with warm water, in the property for the duration of their visit.
When the resident(s) confirm that all of the health and safety criteria can be met, including the occupier(s) are not self-isolating or showing signs of Covid-19, we will continue to book in the technician(s), supervisor or manager(s) needed.

The technician(s), supervisor(s) or manager(s) are then required to carry out the risk assessment on the day of the visit, prior to entering every occupied property by calling the occupier.

A picture of the completed Risk Assessment is to be uploaded onto Eworks by taking a photograph. Only one person is to enter the property at any one time to undertake the works, and in every case, they must update Eworks with confirmation that the works are complete and that all levels of H&S were met.
If the required works necessitate that two people are to enter a property, due consideration MUST be employed to minimise the frequency and length of time the workers must ensure they are not within 2m of each other. If the persons attending are unable to maintain 2mtrs during part of the works, full face protection is to be worn at all times (face visor).

The attendees MUST wash hands at regular intervals and including before and after works take place.
